Avtec manufactures a diverse product line of fire resistant and smoke suppressing surfacing products, additives and coatings. Founded in September 1999 to produce alternatives to phenolic and modified acrylic PE’s, Avtec pioneered the technical innovation of fire hardening low cost composites for life-safety applications. The FireWall ™ “inter-laminate surface” fabricates and functions equally well in thermoplastic and thermoset composite structures. Custom and project specific solutions are available through our R&D department.
